Festive Tractor Run Returns to Spring Hill Farm for its 10th Anniversary

On Saturday 13th December, Spring Hill Farm will once again host one of the most magical community events of the season.

The Banbury Christmas Tractor Run. Now in its 10th consecutive year, the event will see 100 festively decorated tractors gather at the farm before setting off on their annual tour of local villages and Banbury — all in aid of Katharine House Hospice.Over the past decade, this much-loved fundraiser has already generated more than £226,000 for the hospice, and this milestone year aims to break all previous records with an ambitious £100,000 fundraising target.

As always, Jennie, Chris and Stephen from the farm will be taking part, spending the days beforehand busily transforming their tractors into sparkling festive showstoppers. Every tractor in this year’s convoy has been sponsored, ensuring a fantastic fundraising start for the hospice.

Spectators are warmly invited back to Spring Hill Farm to watch the convoy return and enjoy seasonal refreshments, including mulled wine, hot chocolate, mince pies and hot food from local favourite Hook Norton Butchers.

A Magical Night for Farm Guests

This year’s event promises to be extra special. If you’ve stayed in our camping paddock before, you may recognise it from the spectacular drone footage captured at a previous run. And for those booking a stay in one of our cosy shepherd’s huts on 13th December, you’ll have the best seat in the house — watch the tractors assemble, roll out on their festive journey, and then relax in your private hot tub as you wait for the glowing convoy to return. A truly unforgettable start to the Christmas season.
