We had the most amazing stay in a beautiful shepherd’s hut recently. It was such a special little adventure for me and my daughter — something we’ll both remember for a long time. The location was absolutely stunning, with the most gorgeous views that made it feel so peaceful and magical. The hut itself was spotless and finished to such a high standard, with really lovely, high-quality amenities that made our stay extra comfortable. A huge thank you to Jennie, our wonderful host, who couldn’t have done more for us. We felt completely safe, cared for, and truly looked after throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Beautiful, peaceful, well-organized, well maintained campsite on the edge of the Cotswolds. Fire pit hire was a nice addition. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Best toilet facilities we've ever seen at a campsite! We will definitely return!

Our stay at Spring Hill Farm was perfect. Our shepherds hut ‘Rosie’ was clean very cosy and the hot tub was amazing!!! Jennie gave us lots of advise and information about our stay and left us lovely breakfast bits for our arrival.We booked as the farm was close to Jeremy Clarksons pub and farm shop. We had booked a table at The Farmers Dog and when we returned we got straight into the hot tub which was lovely and warm- PERFECT! We will definitely be returning again soon to do some more exploring :)

We had such a great time at this campsite! It’s set in a gorgeous rural location. The local pub, The George, is just a short walk away and served great food and had super friendly staff. The facilities on site were excellent - the showers and toilets were spotless the whole time we were there. We hired a fire pit, which was really easy to arrange. It’s a brilliant place for families, especially with young kids. Everything felt really safe and welcoming. We’d definitely recommend it and will 100% be back!

Spent the BH weekend here with family and friends. Really nice site, plenty of space and not too crowded. Really nice shower block and very good arrangement to pay for and access fire pits and logs. There are two or three villages with pubs reachable by nice, mainly offroad, walks.

Absolutely 10/10. We stayed for a romantic getaway and it was everything, and more, than we expected. Jennie was incredibly accommodating and communicated brilliantly with us before our stay. The hut was spotless, and it’s clear they genuinely go above and beyond. From the thoughtful little touches like flip-flops for walking to the hot tub, a great selection of teas, and extra blankets, to even starting the wood-fired hot tub for us in the morning so it was ready to use, nothing was overlooked and they genuinely thought of everything. Lovely place to stay. Had all the facilities we needed - clean showers, freezer, plugs to charge phone chargers. Liked the lights along the path to shower block. And loved the walk details. Two lovely pubs in easy walking distance that both do great food - just check opening times beforehand. Lovely walks nearby.

Fantastic site in a great location for exploring the Cotswolds. As a semi wild campsite there is no children’s playground, shop, cafe, bar or anything else to entertain you. That is what we loved about the site. Watching families entertain themselves and playing together. There is such a happy laid back feel to this site with a chance to really relax, unwind and spend quality time together.Facilities include showers/toilets and washing up area are immaculately kept and some of the best I’ve seen. The only slight comment is that maybe there is not quite enough when the site is busy. It became very crowded first thing in the morning with everyone showering.

A fantastic stay. From the second I booked, Jenny was responsive and gave clear instructions for everything. The hut itself was clean, warm, cosy and had everything you could need. It was great that the hot tub was pre-warmed so we could enjoy straight away. The small extras of milk, eggs and a pastry were appreciated. The bed was incredibly comfy - l had the best sleep l've had in some time. Overall, an amazing stay!

What can I say, this was the most amazing staycation destination. From the views to the shepherds hut to the hot tub. Jennie was an extremely helpful host and made our stay very special. We came to the shepherds hut for my partners birthday and Jennie arranged my birthday decorations beautifully and even left a little gift for the birthday boy. The hot tub was preheated and was a lovely addition. The hut was spotless, in pristine condition. We had so much fun playing the games provided by Jennie. Would highly recommend whether you want a quiet stay somewhere remote or if you want a comfy romantic place to lay your head after a busy weekend in the beautiful towns of the Cotswolds. Jennie was an amazing host and made our stay very special!

This place is absolutely perfect, everything is so carefully thought out which made everything so easy and comfortable. The hut is beautifully kept, so clean, has everything you need and more with torches, flip flops, trolley to carry bags, fresh eggs, milk and other basics provided. A really beautiful home with absolutely no faults, we will definitely be going back! Walking to the nearest pub for a meal was so easy, would love to explore further next time.

What a wonderful stay for best friends 30th birthday. Jennie was responsive before the stay and during. The location was easy to find and nice easy walk to beautiful local pub. The bed was huge and perfect for us. The amenities were perfect and just what we needed. The fresh eggs were such a treat to wake up with this morning having breakfast looking out at a horsey friend who joined us in the field opposite. Great stay and highly recommend it.

The hut is very very clean, and we couldn’t fault it at all. Mary even introduced us to their brand new foal who had been born the previous evening! Very kind, friendly and welcoming hosts - thank you so much for having us! We loved celebrating our honeymoon there.

This was a wonderful place for me and my partner to stay! The location is really easy to get to and Jennie gave us plenty of information before we arrived! She always responded promptly and was super helpful during our stay. The hut was extremely nice, spacious and had all of the amenities we could want! With chairs outside to watch the wildlife and have a cup of hot chocolate provided by Jennie, along with the numerous other things provided for us. We absolutely loved it here, and will absolutely stay again.

Liked: Well sign posted. Some of the campsite was still a bit soft/muddy from the torrential rain we’ve been having and there were signs telling us the best place to pitch/park while it dries out. The facilities were amazing. Brand new toilets and showers. They were so clean and modern! The location was perfect. Could not fault the site at all to be honest. 10/10 will stay again. Disliked: Nothing at all.

Booked a pitch at Spring Hill along with friends, and it was perfect for a long weekend. Facilities were great - clean showers/toilets, washing up sink and drinking water. Jennie was really helpful, visiting on the first night and bringing a firepit, but not intrusive. We had a great visit, and would definitely come again. Good location for visiting sights - we went to Compton Verney and the Rollright Stones - and a nice short walk to the George for an excellent Sunday roast. The field itself has so much wildlife in the long grasses, and we had lovely views of the sunsets.

Had a beautiful little stay in the hut, really peaceful staying in the middle of a field on a farm which made the experience really special. The hut was more spacious than we were expecting, check in and out was easy and Jennie’s communication was great. Will definitely stay again when we’re in the area!
